Our Story

            Hi what's up everybody? I am Natalie owner and head stylist of Curls and Kinks Hair Studio, Welcome!

     Established in 2020 out of both passion and purpose, We decided to open our first location in East London after moving on from one of Londons' natural hair salons. Trinidadian born and a Brooklyn New York native she is a renowned natural hair stylist with over 17 years experience working in the hair industry. She wants to continue sharing her knowledge and talents with the world. With experience in both in-house and competition work, She has styled and cared for some of the todays' celebrities in TV, theatre and film.   

     Here at Curls and Kinks we provide a safe and comfortable environment for our clients to enjoy being serviced. We offer an array of natural hair styling specialities; These include extensions, locs, colours, cuts, treatments and many more services. 

    We are a Unisex Hair Studio specializing in Afro/Mixed textured hair, we offer services to anyone with hair at least 2” long. 

    Working in the hair industry has been both a passion and purpose of mine. I want to help women, men, and children build their hair confidence. Here at Curls and Kinks staff are hard-working valued individuals, who are ready to take on new skills and challenges. Coming into a community where we are able to provide jobs and elite customer service helps us understand that growth is possible. 

    The goal at Curls and Kinks is to continue servicing clients with flawless natural hairstyles in the community and job opportunities for anyone willing to learn.
